Columbia, it’s that magical time of year again. Our evenings are spent with family, decorating the tree, at parties with friends and colleagues, getting some relaxing downtime for ourselves (if we’re lucky)… and shopping for those perfect, handpicked gifts we know will our loved ones will truly be excited to receive!

One of my favorite annual holiday shopping stops is Crafty Feast, the one-day market of nearly 100 vendors selling artisan-made gifts and goods. (This year’s fair is on Sunday, December 11, from noon to six at the Convention Center.)

I love that everything at Crafty Feast is either handmade or artistically repurposed, so you know you are supporting someone’s passion or a small business with each purchase.

After scoping out this year’s makers, I’ve selected a handful that I’m most excited for—but I could go on and on! Check my picks below, and see previews of all the artisans online at CraftyFeast.com.

Emergolde

Hi, sweet, stuffed koalas. I know my little Vivienne James would love to be friends with y’all.

Izzabee’s Confectioneires

I really think that Nicole Storey, owner of Izzabee’s is Columbia’s most talented baker! She will have a little bit of everything at her booth—macaroons, marshmallows, gourmet s’mores, vanilla bean meringues, Buche de Noels, and her famous cinnamon rolls!

Golden and Grey

I love these handmade ceramics with extra special touches—like this gleaming, gold bumble bee jar.

Humble Roots

My Boston-in-laws can never get enough of pimento cheese. This brand makes some of the best.

Mini + Meep

I’ll be stocking up on these adorable hand-printed onesies for all of my soon-to-be-mommy girlfriends.

Oriskany Glass Studio

Hello, lovelies. These hanging glass air plant holders are perfect for your home or office! I’ll take one for both!

Jessica Rourke - Hometown Love

What do I love? I love the way my husband’s Boston accent sounds when he’s cheering on my hair-brained dreams and schemes. I love repurposing the old, dreaming about what it will become as I go antiquing on sunny Saturday mornings. I love crafting the perfect and unexpected color combination. And as a wedding planner and stylist, I love that I’ve been able to combine these diverse “loves” into one job. Columbia is my home town.  I love watching it grow and change before my very eyes, and I am heartened by those who embrace our city and work to make it full of creativity and community.
